Horizons is an uplifting two-day outdoor gathering that brings together over 300 farmers, researchers, agronomists, visionary food system thinkers, and engaged consumers to explore groundbreaking ideas for growing resilient prairie agriculture.

Hosted on an Axten Farms, away from conference rooms, Horizons provides a unique opportunity to connect with a dedicated group of agricultural leaders, decision-makers, and innovators—to shape the future of farming together!

Horizons runs across two full days and two nights. Staying on site is part of the experience. Morning walks, evening campfires, and informal conversations between sessions all happen on the farm.

Read carefully before booking: Below, you’ll find tickets for the conference and tickets for accommodation. Select all that apply to you and/or your group. Children under 8 years old can attend free, and there are special tickets for youth between 8-15 years old.

On-site accommodation is limited and will fill quickly. You will have access to washrooms and showers if you are camping. You are invited to arrive in the afternoon of the 9th and leave on the 12th in the morning. 

Partner hotels are located 45 to 60 minutes from Axten Farms. A shuttle runs between the hotel and the farm on both mornings and evenings. Book your hotel directly. Horizons does not manage hotel reservations. Hotel bookings cut off date is June 25th, 2026, with 48hr Cancellation/Modification Policy.
